  • Together with three other members of the Evaluation Cycle team, looks after a range of surveys designed to provide systematic feedback on students’ experience of teaching, learning and research, and their broad University experience;
  • The major student feedback surveys are: Quality of Teaching, Melbourne Experience Survey, Australian Graduate Survey (graduate destinations, course experience, postgraduate research experience).

  • to across a range of projects through the analysis and reporting of the University’s surveys; and
  • to key responsibilities including, for example, the analysis, reporting, and policy development of the University’s Quality of Teaching Survey.

  • Particular responsibility for compiling the University’s annual Australian Graduate Survey data collection; and
  • The production of a range of tables and analyses from this data set, as well for other University surveys such as the Melbourne Experience Survey and research experience survey.

  • Analysis and reporting of data collected from the Graduate Destinations portion of the Australian Graduate Survey, producing faculty reports on work and study destinations of graduates following completion of their course; and
  • The University of Melbourne Surveys Reference Group, which has been established to provide policy advice and co-ordination in respect of surveys involving University stakeholders.

Faculty Strategic Planning Program

Robyn O’Loughlin

Robyn leads a strategic support team which will focus on strategy and implementation of faculty business planning. She is responsible for leading, establishing and shaping the team to deliver an agreed program of work for each of three faculties: the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning; the Faculty of Engineering; and the Faculty of Land and Food Resources.

Robyn’s team will provide analysis and support for faculty business planning and budget activities such as:

  • Strategy implementation;
  • Student Load modelling and forecasting;
  • Financial Planning;
  • Workforce modelling;
  • Market planning; and
  • Preparation of faculty annual budgets.

Chris Grigg

Chris works within the project team supporting the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning; the Faculty of Engineering; and the Faculty of Land and Food Resources and provides Strategic Business support and Financial Analysis of the revenue and cost drivers associated with the faculties’ activities.

Diane Jones

Diane provides support to the Strategic Support Team working with the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Land and Food Resources.

Her main responsibilities include supporting:

  • the update of faculty business plans, including facilitating use of business metrics tools and datasets;
  • the development of workforce projections and workforce plans;
  • the modelling of future student profiles in the University’s student scenario model (SSM); and
  • the preparation of faculty annual budgets.

Peter Wilson
