Load & Enrolments Reports

The Load & Enrolments Reports provide reference data for faculties by presenting student load and enrolments in various formats.

From 2005: June and December Submissions.

As a result of the Nelson reforms, reports usually published by the University Planning Office will either be delayed or prepared using preliminary, unvalidated data.

The reporting (census) dates of 31 March and 31 August no longer apply.

Until 2005 the University reported enrolments and student load (EFTSL) for students who were enrolled on either 31 March and/or 31 August and submitted files to DEST on 31 May and 31 October each year.

As of 2005, Information on students enrolled in 2005 will be submitted to DEST on 31 August, 31 October and 31 March 2006.

Prior to 2005: March and August Submissions.

Most of the reports are produced twice a year and are based on the dataset sent to DEST on each Census dates: 31 March and 31 August of each year.

Please note that census dates are also referred to as submissions and are NOT to be confused with semesters: each submission includes students enrolled at any time during the year at the time of the census.

Therefore, March submission includes students that are enrolled at any time during the year as at 31 March and August submission includes students that are enrolled at any time during the year as at 31 August.

Reports availability

The March dataset is sent to DEST on the last Friday of May and the reports for the March submission are usually availabe late June.

The August dataset is sent to DEST on the last Friday of October and the reports for the August submission are usually available late November.
