Expenditure and Broad FTE profile
The Expenditure and Broad FTE profile shows salary analysis data and HR position charging data for all budget units and faculty totals for 2005 to 2007.
Salary analysis (Finance) data includes only Payroll data. Payments (e.g. journals or contractors) processed directly against the General Ledger are not included in this data, and therefore totals may be lower than actual year-end results. There are negative payments recorded in the General Ledger. In some cases, these are internal transfers (for example, between project and operating accounts) and do not affect overall totals. Deductions are also made against budget unit / department 000 for annual and long service leave provisions. Some negative payments do not fall into either category and may appear as anomalous values in the data. If there are particular concerns, please contact Guy Edwards.
HR data (Position charging report) as at the 30th of November in each year has been matched with Finance data at individual payment level – i.e. the payments in the Finance data that reflect the Position Charging details in the HR dataset have been individually joined. HR details are only available for Full-time and Fractional Full-Time staff.
Expenditure for FTFFT staff that cannot be matched with HR details has been grouped into “No Details” in the dashboard. “Other” staff are Non-University classifications included in Themis (occurs only in some affiliate bodies).
