Ensuring Accountability
The University accountabiulity framework "Ensuring Accountability" incorporates the annual cycles of:
Planning and Budgeting;
Reporting and Risk Assessment; and
Quality Assurance and Evaluation.
The latest update 'Ensuring Accountability 2007-08' was approved by PBC in December 2006.
The University of Melbourne is currently undertaking a broad program of reform to the University's governance and management arrangements. The accountability framework is being refreshed with the objective of ensuring greater integration at the various levels, simplifying processes and embedding business planning.
The '2008 Planning and Budget Cycle Schedule' (approved by PBC November 2007) sets out the timeline for strategic planning, business planning and budgeting, reporting, and quality assurance and evaluation.
