Graduate Destination Survey (GDS)
Graduate Destination Survey : Life after graduation. A snapshot at 30 April.
The Graduate Destination Survey (GDS) is part of the Australian Graduate Surveys suite of surveys, co-ordinated nationally by Graduate Careers Australia. The survey is conducted by each Australian tertiary institution using a common methodology.
The purpose of the survey is to find out from students who complete a qualification in a given year what type of work, further study or other activity they were engaged in four months after completion of their course. In this university, data are used in career guidance offered to current and prospective students, as well as in performance assessment. Survey data are also used as one of seven indicators in the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund distribution by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
