Higher Degree Research graduate destinations and Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire (PREQ)
The Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire (PREQ), was designed to measure the quality of research higher degree courses. This survey is part of the Australian Graduate Surveys suite of surveys (together with the Graduate Destination Survey and the Course Experience Questionnaire) conducted by each higher education institution under the national co-ordination of Graduate Careers Australia.
The PREQ is a 28 item questionnaire, which is normally reduced for reporting purposes to five scales (supervision, intellectual climate, skills development, infrastructure, thesis examination processes, clarity of goals and expectations) and an overall satisfaction item. Reports are available to University staff only unless otherwise indicated.
